Frequently Asked

Do I need marine insurance for every shipment?
Regular importers can take out an Open Cover policy that automatically covers all shipments under agreed terms, much more convenient than issuing a new policy per shipment.
What is the difference between ICC A, B, and C clauses?
ICC A is the broadest cover (all risks). ICC B covers specific perils like fire, collision, and flooding. ICC C is the most restricted, covering only major casualties. We recommend ICC A for most shipments.
Does marine insurance cover inland transport to my warehouse?
Standard marine policies cover from the supplier's warehouse to your warehouse, including the inland leg. Confirm the specific terms with us.
What documents are needed to claim?
Original bill of lading or airway bill, commercial invoice, packing list, survey report, and your insurance certificate. Our claims team guides you through the process.
