Is motor insurance mandatory in Kenya?
Yes. The Traffic Act requires every vehicle owner to have at minimum Third Party insurance before driving on public roads. Driving without it is a criminal offence.
What is the difference between comprehensive and third party?
Third Party only covers damage you cause to others. Comprehensive also covers damage to your own vehicle from accidents, theft, fire, and natural disasters.
How is my premium calculated?
Your premium is based on your vehicle's make, model, year of manufacture, current market value, your claim history, and the type of cover you choose.
How do I file a claim?
Call or WhatsApp us immediately after an incident. We guide you through the process, arrange towing if needed, and liaise with the insurer on your behalf.
Can I insure a matatu or commercial vehicle?
