Is Public Liability a legal requirement in Kenya?
It's not always mandatory by law, but many landlords, malls, and government tenders require proof of cover before you can operate or bid.
Does it cover my employees too?
No, employee injury is covered separately under WIBA and Employers Liability. Public Liability covers third parties, customers and visitors, not your staff.
What if a customer slips and falls in my shop?
